How to prepare for eclipse season (Libras, don't elope.)

Beaming in from the airwaves to share some important news! As you’ve heard on the WORLD OF REX pod, we’re heading towards the first of two October eclipses this weekend. Here’s what you need to know.

The Basics
The annual new moon solar eclipse in Libra — at 21°, for the nerds — is happening this Saturday, October 14 at 10:55 pm PT (October 15 at 1:55 am for ET folks). The moon will pass between the sun and the earth, opening a portal that closes on October 28.
This eclipse will be conjunct with the south node, our “wound”, for the first time in 18 and a half years. That means big, karmic pivot points. Think fated endings and beginnings, especially around relationship patterns. Since the south node is a drain, the eclipse will help release what — or who — isn’t serving us.
In the News
We’ll likely see some falls from grace during eclipse season: resignations, firings, even deaths. Watch out for what’s happening with world leaders, politicians, and figures in law. Libra is ruled by Venus, so we may also see shifts in arts storylines (movement in various Hollywood strikes, anyone?)

Chase the eclipse. Trust me, it’s a bad omen. Trump looked directly at a solar eclipse in 2017 — without protective eyewear — and we all know how that’s going.
