The Basics
Scorpio season always emphasizes what we share with others: resources, assets, real estate, finances. It’s normal to feel pressure to negotiate those topics right now. Scorpio’s shadow can be a little secretive — it’s hard for our spooky girls to know they can trust others with their feelings. But this big leap is what’s being asked of us this week. Either we’ll be rewarded for trying, or we’ll learn how to set new boundaries if things fall apart.
An early transit brought Venus in Sagittarius and Saturn in Pisces head to head this week. Pisces’ sense of universal oneness and many realities infuriates Sagittarius’ ideal that a singular truth sets us all free. Fiery Sag wants to get moving, but Pisces interjects, saying no, maybe you’re tired, it’s not that simple. Emotions may feel too heavy to hold this week.
But that tension can heal us: rather than seeing in black and white, can we work together to see everyone’s perspectives? On the flip side, can we use Sag’s clarifying light to ground Pisces’ delusional shadow?
We kick off November tomorrow with a vibrating new moon in Scorpio. It’s the perfect time to dive into shadow work with therapists and healers, and do a spell or two this week (fitting as Halloween winds down).
Weekly Highlights & Sign Specifics
On Monday, Venus in Sagittarius squared Saturn in Pisces, creating love, money, and creative tensions. Venus in Sag is like a sexy teacher, but that doesn’t mean the lessons will be easy.
Squares = action: we feel compelled to make romantic or financial choices this week. But remember Pisces: something here may not be fully rooted in reality.
Tomorrow, Mars in Cancer gears up to oppose daddy Pluto in Capricorn (for the first of three times — more on that next week). This also coincides with the new moon in Scorpio, setting up charged power dynamics, releasing primal instincts, and combusting relationships.
Masculine Mars feels out of place in soft, maternal Cancer, triggering mother and family drama storylines.
Just like last week, we have to enter the subterranean, eerily quiet parts of ourselves. But don’t worry: the new moon fortifies us. We’re strong enough to not get lost.
This also begins a powerful two week cycle that’s very auspicious for trying new somatic and talk therapies.

Rex’s Recs:
Do:
Get witchy. Once the full moon arrives, it’s the perfect time for planetary magic, occult rituals, and liberating spells all weekend long. Scream therapy? Sure. Sacred sexuality? Yes and.
Reflect on September 17 till now. Remember that lunar eclipse in Pisces? You may have to make a decision you’re not thrilled about, likely related to whatever you’ve been integrating since then.
Watch for red flags. Pisces may obscure what you need to see — be careful about money, love, even real estate decisions.
Rest. Are you eating well? How’s your mental health? The more we fortify our routines, the more gracefully we can handle Sagittarius vs. Pisces tensions.
Redirect activated Mars energies into career drive, physical exercise, or creative flow to avoid unnecessary violence.
Don’t:
Rocket-ship away. Desires for freedom bump up against fantasies, illusions, emotional lethargy. Someone’s feelings may be draining our energy — don’t hit the eject button. Breathe through reactivity and dysregulation.
Get mired in being a big old baby. That’s just Pisces medicine, I don’t make the rules.
Be afraid to cut ties. Even as we manage reactivity, some repressed feelings have to explode to make room for new connection. Go no contact if you have to. But beware of high horses, coercive tactics, threats, intimidation — they’ll likely backfire.
Journaling Prompts:
Are you motivated by repressed emotions, or are you conscious? Can you see beyond emotional blind spots?
Do your beliefs and philosophies support collective societal healing, or are they binary?
What dynamics (personal or government-scale) make you feel disempowered?
