Welcome to the WORLD OF REX newsletter, where we dive into tips + tricks for navigating this week’s transits. This week: explore the wormholes.
Hey Astro Fam,
You know things are getting spicy when I say stuff like “demon star.” Listen to this week’s episode, Wings, for more (tune in Sundays to prepare for the week ahead)!

Loooots of lessons coming this summer — book a reading to prepare! Gemini suns and risings get 25% off until June 20!
The Basics
It’s a week for questions. Curious Gemini wants to muck about in the intricacies of everything — unlike Sagittarius, its opposite, who can fall into the dogma of a single truth or path forward. Holding multiple ways to live at once, Gemini believes there's a way (or several) through a problem. Embrace this energy; it’ll make the month easier.
Blackbird, specifically Beyonce’s cover, comes to mind. The contradiction of learning to fly with broken wings is classic Gemini. Air signs are already off the ground, not bound by earth — but there’s still the question of how the wings broke. The week has a shadowy, intense undertone.
Jupiter entered Gemini on Saturday and will stay there until June 5, 2025 (yes, a whole year). The benefic ruler of expansion, he’s asking us to sit in nuance and multiplicity. But Jupiter is the big-picture galaxy brain: there’s tension with detail-oriented Gemini. I’m hoping this transit helps us dismantle black-and-white answers and consider many perspectives. This isn’t the year to commit, but to experiment.
On May 18, Jupiter went through an astronomical death and rebirth process, changing from an evening star to a morning star. What was dying to be reborn in your life around that time? Pisces and Sagittarius should especially consider this, as you're ruled by Jupiter. Taurus and Gemini should also reflect: this reset themes of stability, security, sustenance. What was coming in?
Weekly Highlights & Sign Specifics
All week, Venus is combust, meaning she's within a 2-3° orb to the Sun and getting burned by its rays. This is intense — in Vedic astrology, this is considered not optimal for love, money, or marriage.
Mercury is also on top of Algol, the fixed Demon Star. Considering Algol is the head of Medusa in the Perseus constellation, this….also isn’t great. Violence is possible — be mindful, particularly with communication.
On Monday, the Moon was in Aquarius, crossed Pluto, and trined the Gemini trio of the Sun, Venus and Jupiter. Trines are easeful; this supports trying new things, transitions, weighing multiple options, learning new skills.
Btw, Venus in Gemini is a trysexual — they'll try anything once. 👀
We’re learning how to care for ourselves better and communicate our needs; you may finally feel heard in a one-on-one conversation.
Yesterday, the Aquarius Moon squared Mercury and Uranus. This can be bumpiness reminiscent of a Mercury retrograde. You may have felt triggered by little things, especially via social media and technology.
Today, Mars in Aries conjoins Chiron, and Jupiter trines retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. This sparks curiosity about an existing storyline, likely around a solo or intrapersonal wound we’re being asked to heal. Get ready to individuate.
Libra and Aries: this is going to feel a little spicy or personal.
This transit coaxes us into new groups and ventures. This could be healing after February, when Pluto first entered Aquarius and lots of people felt excluded.
On Thursday night, Mercury will conjoin Uranus, creating a breakthrough — but maybe not with a soft landing. Multiple factors may prompt you to reassess a story. Feeling overwhelmed? Breathe through it.
Saturday and Sunday, the Moon enters Aries for a fiery, self-centered, impulsive weekend. With Venus combust and Algol still around, we’ll feel sensitive, but things are okay!
Especially my Libra and Aries (again): Reflect on how far you've come since April — even since April of 2023, when we had the first eclipse of this cycle in Aries.
Rex’s Recs:
Do:
Be by yourself. Moon in Aries says turn inward and try something new on your own (bonus points if it’s athletic or movement-related).
Take breaks to hold space for personal downloads. Inner child history may emerge; be gentle with yourself, like you would a kid who fell on the playground. Everything’s gonna be fine, but a hug can’t hurt.
Learn a new skill. The astro-weather is optimal for going back to school or trying a new hobby. Wanna learn chess? Classic Gemini.
Sit with contradiction. Our minds like to have clean, easy answers, but the nuance of being human means mess. Even if you don’t fully know, you’ll come out transformed.
Chat! Intellectual stimulation abounds when Venus is in an air sign; have juicy, experimental conversations (even debates) and be open to learning.
Don’t:
React. Instead, respond.
Say it if it does not need to be said.
Play devil’s advocate just for the chaos. The shadow side of Jupiter in Gemini is both sides-ism. Don’t stir the pot when you could look for solutions. Not committing to anything on principal is its own type of dogma (and half-taken roads get lonely).
Make huge decisions in love, money or marriage. Venus in Gemini combust can make spontaneous decisions that create difficult domino effects over time.
Journaling Prompts:
Are you being argumentative just to maintain a superficial sense of freedom?
What does it feel like to do things that are contradictory or seem impossible?
How can you be flexible amidst the breakdown of long-standing habits, thoughts or beliefs?
Where can you linger a little longer? What are you the most curious about?
Will you pass the test and advocate for yourself this time?
What in your life needs a radically different perspective?
